Welcome to First Baptist Church of Crystal River, Florida

We welcome everyone to our church and fellowship. If you are looking for a loving, caring and Bible preaching church, come and visit us at First Baptist. Our doors are always open. If you have special needs or need someone to pray with you, feel free to call our church office.

The ABC's of Becoming A Christian

  • Admit that you have sinned, that you have broken God’s Law.
  • Believe that Jesus Christ died for every wrong thing you’ve ever done. Believe that He was buried and rose again on the third day.
  • Confess to Jesus that you want Him to forgive you and lead your life.

Are you ready to receive Jesus into your life? Say this prayer, “God, I admit that I have sinned against you. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose again. The best way I know how, I receive Jesus into my life to lead me and save me. Amen.”

Please contact one of our staff so that we may pray with you and help you understand what it means to becoming a Christian.

A Note From Our Pastor

November is a month to focus upon giving thanks and sharing with those in need. I want to express a special “thank-you” to all who volunteer for our many ministries. The spirit of volunteerism and going the extra mile for someone is alive and well in our church. You reach out to those in need and comfort those who are hurting. You care about people of all ages and all seasons of life. Thank you for giving of yourself to touch the heart of another person.

The Ingathering will take place on Sunday, November 1st. These groceries will be used to serve the needs of our community during the Thanksgiving season. We will dedicate the shoe boxes for the Samaritans Purse Ministry on November 15th. This is a great opportunity to bless a child around the world. We will also host our annual Community Thanksgiving dinner. People from all areas of our community will join together on Thanksgiving Day to share a thanksgiving meal. You can get involved in this ministry by volunteering to serve and by giving to help with the cost. Our Hand Bell Choir will also be playing on Thanksgiving Day.

The message series in November is called “Critical Conversations.” We will look at places in the Bible where God decides to have a critical conversation with someone. As we examine these criti-cal conversations, we will come to the conclusion that God often wants to have a critical conversation with us too. The issues addressed by God in the Bible are still relevant and meaningful to our lives to-day. What is God trying to say to you? Are you open to God’s voice in your life?

  • November 1 Noah—Will You Be On Mission For Me?

  • November 8 Abraham—Do You Believe That My Plans
    Are Better Than Your Plans?

  • November 15 Moses—Do You Believe That I Can Help
    You Become Successful?

  • November 22 Jesus and Satan—Will You Take The Easy
    Way Out?

Thank You again for doing your part to touch hearts and transform lives!

God Bless,

Pastor Tim
