Welcome to First Baptist Church of Crystal River, Florida

We welcome everyone to our church and fellowship. If you are looking for a loving, caring and Bible preaching church, come and visit us at First Baptist. Our doors are always open. If you have special needs or need someone to pray with you, feel free to call our church office.

The ABC's of Becoming A Christian

  • Admit that you have sinned, that you have broken God’s Law.
  • Believe that Jesus Christ died for every wrong thing you’ve ever done. Believe that He was buried and rose again on the third day.
  • Confess to Jesus that you want Him to forgive you and lead your life.

Are you ready to receive Jesus into your life? Say this prayer, “God, I admit that I have sinned against you. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose again. The best way I know how, I receive Jesus into my life to lead me and save me. Amen.”

Please contact one of our staff so that we may pray with you and help you understand what it means to becoming a Christian.

A Note From Our Pastor

November is a month to focus upon giving thanks and sharing with those in need. It’s a time to give praise to God for all He has done and a time to bless others. “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name” (Psalm 100:4).

November is about serving the needs of others. Thank you to everyone who partic-ipated in the Ingathering. These groceries will be used to serve the needs of our communi-ty during the Thanksgiving season. We will dedicate the shoe boxes for the Samaritans Purse Ministry on Sunday, November 11th. This is a great opportunity to bless a child around the world. We will also host our annual Community Thanksgiving dinner. People from all over our community will join together on Thanksgiving Day to share a thanksgiv-ing meal. You can get involved in this ministry by volunteering to serve and by giving to help with the cost.

In November we will conclude the message series called “Touching Hearts and Transforming Lives.” The holiday season is often a great time to make a spiritual differ-ence in the life of another person. The final messages in this series include the following:

  • November 4 A Place For You On Jesus’ Team (Luke 1:1-11)

  • November 11 You Make The Difference (1 Thess. 2:1-12)

  • November 18 Earthly vs. Eternal (Philippians 3:17-21)

Thinking about joining the church family at First Baptist Church of Crystal River? The New Members Class will take place on Saturday, November 10 from 4:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon. You can sign-up on the clipboard at church or by calling the church office.

I pray that you and your family have a blessed November and will be led by God a moment or two this month to touch the heart and transform the life of another person!

God Bless,

Pastor Tim
